Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments Prayer Space features a beautiful 7-foot slab of granite engraved with the 10 Commandments. God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai as Israel was in the wilderness after leaving Egypt as the basis of His principles & laws. These laws are universal and timeless and are to guide our conduct and show how life works best. This Prayer Space is a place to meditate on these commandments as well as intercede for these commandments to be integrated into our schools and society.

Prayer

Lord, You have said in Luke 21:33: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away." We ask that we would grow to know and love your Word. We pray that the Ten Commandments would be returned to our schools and society.

When we do not keep these commandments, thank you for your forgiveness and strength to walk in ways that are right towards you and those around us. For You said in 1 John 1:3: "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome." Thank you for showing your love for us by teaching and showing us how life works best when we obey these ten commandments.

In Jesus' Name, Amen
