Seasonal Events

Plan to join us for these seasonal events at the Garden!

Spring

Spring kicks off with Southern Colorado's Annual Community Sunrise service early on Easter Sunday. Join us at the Garden with your friends, family and community for a meaningful time to celebrate Jesus overcoming death. This is also a special time to visit the Empty Tomb.

Spring brings a combination of snow, budding trees and an opportunity to watch the Garden come to life. There are also ongoing times to meet at the Garden for prayer, including the Biblical celebration of Passover and joining with others across the Nation for National Day of Prayer in May.

Summer

Summer at the Garden is a time to come and enjoy the full beauty of God's creation. The Tabernacle of David is open daily for prayer, praise and worship with instruments and singing. There are maps to encourage prayer and intercession for local, national, and global issues.  See our events page for Summer events and activities.

The Garden celebrates its birthday each summer on Pentecost Sunday. Come to hear about the history of the Garden and testimonies of what God is doing at the Garden.

Fall

As the weather changes, we take time each Fall for Founders Day in late September to honor the Founders of the Garden, Ted & Audrey Beckett, and the legacy and foundation they built for the Gateway Prayer Garden.

During Fall, there is also a celebration of the Fall Feasts to welcome the Biblical New Year.

Winter

We look forward each winter to putting up lights to celebrate the Christmas season. Bring your family, friends to our open houses to enjoy hot apple cider and Christmas carols.
