About Our Global Projects
The Gateway Prayer Garden not only focuses on the individual and the local community, but global impact as well. 10% of all donations to the Garden support Global Projects.
In 1986, Ted and Audrey Beckett, the Founders of the Gateway Prayer Garden, started a Foundation to invest in Global Projects for Kingdom impact. This has been a vital force for decades, investing in leaders and ministries to bring thousands to a deeper understanding of God and their purpose in His kingdom.
The Gateway Prayer Garden (GPG) is beginning to undergird this global vision by connecting prayer with tangible action. While GPG serves individuals and the local community, its impact extends worldwide, not only through prayer, but practically, by supporting Global Projects. Together, these efforts represent a shared mission of spreading faith, hope, and transformation across the globe.
Today, India is a key focus of Global projects. It is the most populous nation on earth with 1.4 billion people, that presents unique challenges and opportunities for gospel outreach. With a vision to empower local leaders, Global Projects partner with more than 500 Christian leaders who are faithfully serving God in their communities, equipping them to fulfill their God-given callings with boldness and impact.
Through practical support, we have helped establish small businesses, improve healthcare, and expand educational opportunities in some of the most under served areas. These efforts have paved the way for prayer and leadership training, reaching villages where the gospel had never been heard before. As a result, entire communities have been transformed, experiencing the hope and redemption that only Christ brings.
