PATH TO THE CROSS IS OPEN . . . !
On Friday and Saturday, August 20th and 21st the big white tent was filled with men, women, and children celebrating the joy of the Lord with flags and banners. Pastors John Bornschein, Jeff Anderson, Steve Holt, and Darrin Ronde all brought prayers and messages both challenging and timely for this Kingdom season.
The Revival Celebration was in remembrance of what happened in downtown Fountain a hundred years ago in 1921 when the Holy Spirit brought spiritual life in a powerful way to the city.
Local believers heard about our plans through Facebook, emails, newspaper articles, local radio announcements, and invites to make this a wonderful time of celebration and experiencing the reality and vision of the Gateway Prayer Garden.
The green and white roofed food tent provided overflow for the approximately 300 attendees as well as a place to informally meet and enjoy a bite to eat.
This celebration was the Gateway Prayer Garden’s dedication event. We thank ALL the volunteers who contributed with the sweat of their brows, in prayer, and financially. Those from The Table church and High Place Ministries helped spiritually prepare for God’s presence prior to the event and were a great blessing.

IN THIS PRESENT HEALTH CHALLENGE . . .
It’s a good reminder to recognize that sickness and disease comes from the evil one who is ALWAYS working to discourage followers of Jesus. As we are “temples” of the Holy Spirit, the responsibility is ours to be informed and equipped for maximum care of our bodies. When it comes to COVID-19, we recommend you visiting the following website link: Health Recovery which has been used with outstanding results in El Paso County battling this insidious sickness.
CHANGE IN RESPONSIBILITIES . . .
It’s been my privilege to provide leadership in laying foundations for the Gateway Prayer Garden ministry over these past five years in serving as Director. We’ve had many challenges as most of you know and were thrilled to be able to host many of you during the 100-year Revival Celebration recently on-site. The physical changes were dramatic, many of which only occurred in the past several weeks.
Audrey Beckett along with her husband Ted received a commission from the Lord in 2016 to build a Prayer Garden at the southern gateway to Colorado Springs. It is to be a place to demonstrate the Kingdom of God through prayer and outreach both locally and into the nations. Audrey has felt she is to take a more hands-on role in this season of change and will be overseeing future communications and greater decision-making in the future activities at the Garden.
I’m sure she’ll appreciate your prayers for increased wisdom and direction from the Lord as we enter our next season of growth.
For the Kingdom in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado !
