EDUCATION MOUNTAIN ALERT!

As you know, an important part of the Gateway Prayer Garden mission is to pray for the “7 Mountains” or “Spheres” that most impact culture.  We have all observed, particularly over the past year and a half, the attacks upon both public and private schools resulting in diminished freedoms by both students and teachers.

The Gateway Prayer Garden is partnering with other leaders in education during the month of February with two special events you need to be aware of:

1) A TIME TO PRAY THIS WEEKEND . . .
This Sunday February 6th, from 3-4pm, the Gateway Prayer Garden will host a prayer time specifically for supporting the February 19th gathering.  The location is 8035 Bandley Drive in Fountain just off exit 132A on I-25.  If you are a teacher, administrator, school board member, or home school parent, you need to be present.

2) SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH IS AN IMPORTANT DATE . . .
On Saturday, February 19 from 10am -12pm, a “Brunch to Bless the Educators” will occur at Friendship Assembly church located at 3685 New Center Point in Colorado Springs. (Around the corner from North Powers Blvd and North Carefree Circle.)

There will be personal prayer, good food, door prizes, and speakers who will empower you with a greater understanding of the freedom and liberty you possess as an educator – all at no charge to you.

If you know anyone participating in the “ministry” of education whether public or private, let them know about this event.  God has a plan to move this “mountain” toward demonstrating His goodness and it starts with honoring and blessing those who are on the front lines.  Pastors need to be informing their parishioners about this opportunity to come and be encouraged in this critical cultural arena of society.

FOR MORE INFORMATION . . .
Registration is required and you can follow this link Bless the Educators Brunch to do so.   Visit the Facebook page of the Gateway Prayer Garden for videos Why Attend? you can share with others.

We look forward to meeting and praying with you on Sunday AND February 19th.  Let others know because God has plans for redeeming this cultural “mountain” of education.  Our futures depend on it.

HELP US PAVE THE WAY TO THE CROSS

WE HAVE STARTED PAVING THE WAY TO THE CROSS AND NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP . . .

To finish paving the way to the Cross, the Walkway, and the Scripture Stones, will cost $120,000.  The Good News is that a donor who loves the Gateway Prayer Garden has agreed to match dollar for dollar up to $60,000 which will provide $120,000 to complete reaching the Cross.

Your gift of $100 becomes $200.  Your gift of $350 for a Scripture Stone is doubled and you are providing TWO Scripture Stones.  This link allows you to partner with us: Pave the Way to the Cross

OPEN HOUSE - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18TH FROM 2-4 PM . . .

Circle the date on your calendar.  Come see the Cross and the work that has been completed in the last three months.  Come fellowship and see our Prayer Room where we pray for nations including our own country.  We’re looking forward to greeting you.
