Here’s a recent quote we shared on our Facebook page sent to us by Pastor Terri Brown:
“No amount of regret changes the past. No amount of anxiety changes the future, but any amount of gratitude changes the present.” – Marc and Angel Chernoff
We agree and a spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving can change the atmosphere in any environment. As followers of Jesus we are the most hopeful of all people and the future is always much brighter than our adversary tries to paint on the canvas of our lives.
CIRCLE THE DATE . . .
Saturday, December 17, the Gateway Prayer Garden Welcome Center will host a Christmas Open House from 11 am to 2 pm. Come and celebrate the goodness of God and share some Kingdom fellowship! You’ll be excited to see some designs for the planned Worship and Prayer Center ministry building as well ! *** Pray with us for a Site Superintendent to build out God’s plans for the Garden as He continues to reveal them to us.
AUDREY’S MISSION TRIP TO INDIA . . .
Audrey and her team’s recent trip to India was so significant she is planning to return again during the month of January. She would value your prayers as she makes preparations for this time over a very busy upcoming holiday season.
OUR FRIENDS IN PUEBLO NEED HELP . . .
At the Gateway Prayer Garden we take very seriously the effects of abortion in our state and local communities. To date, every attempt to restrict this odious and unrestricted practice in Colorado has been rebuffed by the state government. Presently there is a late-term abortionist attempting to set up a “death camp” in Pueblo and the local faith community is rising to stop it from occurring.
We will put more details and continuous updates on our Facebook page for your participation in this most important effort on the Front Range.
What is historic is the leadership of two courageous City Council members in this effort and the battle is just beginning. Our Garden team is providing support by praying, participating, and linking with others in the pro-life community across the state. Now that Roe vs. Wade has been overturned by the US Supreme Court, attention has shifted to the states. The roots of this culture of death began in Colorado in 1967 - well before the Roe vs Wade decision – a fact most people are unaware of.
ELECTIONS ARE OVER FOR THE MOMENT . . .
In our last newsletter we encouraged you to vote. What has emerged in many media outlets even more forcefully since November 8th is the corruption that occurred across multiple states in the voting process. Many questions remain and voters aren’t sure what to believe in terms of election results. In some cities, votes are still being counted!
Hundreds of thousands of believers across the nation have been praying and continue to that the “hidden things” in the nation would be exposed. We pray that this will occur is such a way that only God will be recognized for making it happen.
It’s possible that the night gets darker before the dawn as our adversary is hard at work to destroy our country. We don’t know. At the Prayer Garden we believe that what some are calling a domestic and international “reset” in the nations will be upended by a “heaven-sent reset” of the Kingdom of God.
WINTER OUTREACH . . .
Lest you think our Garden activities and outreach have stopped because of weather and the Tent of Meeting taken down, look at what’s coming:
• Outreach to churches in El Paso County informing them about the Garden with a brief video presentation.
• Continued linking and partnering with leaders in the 7 Mountains of influence in the Front Range.
• Architectural plans and drawings are being worked on for the Worship and Prayer Center that will provide year-round activity in fulfilling our mission of ministering on-site to visitors and into the nations.
First Fruits" will stream on our Facebook Page – December 23, 6:30pm !
We just viewed an excellent teaching on the 9th month of the Hebrew calendar by Angie Sickler and encourage all of you to view it on our Facebook page at The Month of Kislev. Next month this valuable “First Fruits” teaching will again be live streamed on our Facebook page on December 23, at 6:30pm. We encourage you to check it out ! (Facebook Link)
THE TIME OF THE YEAR WHEN WE ASK YOU TO PARTNER WITH US . . .
The Prayer Garden has hosted many life-giving events this year and we are actively seeking the Lord for His plans for 2023. Partnering with us financially will help these plans come to fruition. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make the Prayer Garden even more effective in touching people with the love of God. (Give HERE)
WE ARE ON THE MOVE . . . !
We are on the move and so thankful for all you who have helped bring us to this place of accomplishment. WE NEED MORE PARTNERS LIKE YOU to fulfill everything God has called us to do. This means welcoming and demonstrating God’s goodness in a personal life changing way to everyone He brings to the Garden.
BATTLES . . .
There is a battle for the nation raging at this time, the consequences of which will influence future generations. From corruption across many spheres of society, to lack of election integrity, to anti-God content forced into our public schools, NOW is a time to lean “forward in faith” into God’s purposes for this season of Kingdom history.
Our response? At a minimum, be committed to vote regardless of what messages you may have received through communication channels that may discourage you from doing so. The Church community is finally beginning to awaken to the dangers of our adversary who is pressing his attack on every sector of our communities.
For those in God’s Kingdom, failure is never an option regardless of what your eschatology may bring to your worldview. God always wins.
The “Seen” World . . .
To facilitate your understanding and engagement (we highly suggest you vote in person), we provide the following multiple resources for you to consider using and urge you to vote in person on election Day, if at all possible. We encourage you to forward this to friends if helpful.
Following are good principles and practical actions to take this year:
Do not fill out your ballot at home with the intention of dropping it in a Ballot Drop Box or polling site, as it will be counted as a mailed-in ballot (this creates more opportunity for manipulation).
- Take the ballot which was mailed to you with you to the polling place and show it to them as proof that you have NOT yet voted (in case they say that you are recorded as having already voted by mail and you are denied the opportunity to vote in person).
- Request at the polling place that they provide you with a fresh printed ballot and they should do so.
- Destroy the ballot that was mailed to you after you complete the new one given to you at the polling place.
Use BLUE inked pen to complete your ballot as this is harder to manipulate than black ink.

The “Unseen” World . . . To participate in the “battle” in the unseen world with hands-on (hearts-on) strategic prayer we invite and encourage you to access the following:
Gateway Prayer Garden is joining with Colorado Springs Prayer Watch to see every Colorado community saturated in non-stop prayer bringing alignment with God’s purposes “on earth as it is in heaven" and calling all intercessors who want to stand with us on the wall once a month. We are currently looking at the second Tuesday of the month beginning at 6:00 PM and ending at 6 AM for a 24 hour watch. Please email [email protected] to learn more about how you can participate with fellow followers of Jesus.
The vision of Colorado Prays is to shift the spiritual climate across Colorado by covering it with non-stop day and night prayer. You will be provided with prayer points and guidelines that will help you find your place on the wall like in the book of Nehemiah and where “our God will fight for us.” Neh. 4:20
BLESSINGS . . .
Adventures in Missions – this inaugural missions gathering in October provided an exceptional opportunity to attendees to be exposed to the “10/40 Window”; that part of the world with the most unreached peoples who have not heard of Jesus. There were multiple mission groups present who shared what God is doing in this part of the world and opportunities to participate in what represents almost a third of the world’s population of over 7 billion people.
Prayer Pathways Completed ! – The “Tent of Meeting” has come down for the year but the Pathway pavers are done ! When Audrey returns from India we’ll have a celebration! This effort represents hundreds of man-hours by Randy Fiedler and his team of volunteers and we are so thankful for this gift of love for the Garden. To know that thousands of people will walk on this ground and talk to the Lord over the years to come is no small contemplation.
India – Our own Audrey Beckett who has had a multi-decade investment financially and relationally in the poorest and most undeveloped state of Odisha, with Theresa and volunteers are in India at the moment. They have experienced remarkable realities of God growing His family among the “unreached” people of this state. More stories to follow of how prayers have been answered.
"First Fruits" Will Stream on our Facebook Page – Nov. 23 and Dec. 23 !
We continue to hear and learn more each month of celebrating “First Fruits” with George and Angie Sickler who lead worship and unfold the riches of the Hebrew calendar. This month on Wednesday, November 23rd and next month on Friday, December 23rd we’ll Live Stream on our Facebook Page so watch for more details. (Facebook Link)
