Suggestions on using the Fountain Creek Prayer Trail

The Gateway Prayer Garden is an excellent place to cry out to God when one is having trouble or trials or when a life changing decision needs to be made.

You may want to express your prayers in any one of several ways. These may include focusing on a particular kind of prayer e.g., petitioning or intercession. Or you may want to pray centering on your area of calling, vocation, or workplace using the concepts of the "Seven Mountains". We encourage you to pray in whatever manner you are most comfortable with. Some of the most powerful prayers come from praying God’s words in the Bible.

The Fountain Creek Prayer Trail represents the first phase of the Gateway Prayer Garden and is available for use by the general public without charge. We simply ask that you honor the environment provided by keeping it clean and quiet. Thank you.

Things To Remember

  • Prayer is simply communication with the One True God
  • God wants to reveal Himself to you by His Spirit
  • If you are a follower of Jesus, the Son of God, you have been given access to all the treasures and gifts of heaven by the Holy Spirit, including great spiritual authority.
  • Prayer involves both speaking - whether audibly or silently - and listening

JESUS taught His followers to pray like this..
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever.
