SAVE THE DATE . . .
Did you know you are a “World Christian”?  Friday, Oct. 14 (6pm) and Saturday, Oct. 15 (9am – 4:30pm), the Garden will host its first annual “Adventure In Missions,” which will showcase examples of how God’s Spirit is moving globally.  The greatest numbers of people in the world who have never heard the Good News of the Gospel, including the poorest of the poor, live in what is called the “10/40 Window.”

This time together will unpack God’s heart for these people and how important it is to be aware of the needs and opportunities present.  The Garden will be hosting on-site missionaries from a variety of nations with a special focus on the Moslem, Hindu, and Asian cultures.   We will bring the world to you to capture your heart and share opportunities of how you can partner with Kingdom efforts in these nations.

A VERY IMPORTANT PLACE / EMPHASIS IN THE GARDEN . . .

Pro-Woman  |  Pro-Baby  |  Pro-Life

Probably the most culturally devastating occurrence in the American culture over the past 50 years was the legalization of abortion.  Now that Roe vs Wade has been overthrown, the battle for life switches to the states.  To participate in this battle, a portion of the Prayer Garden will be designated in the future to the LIFE issue.

Abortion is the most important moral, social, and spiritual issue confronting the Church in the world.  Not only has it resulted in the loss of hundreds of millions of lives and God’s intended destinies for them, the shedding of innocent blood empowers the forces of darkness just as it did in the Old Testament.

This area of the Garden will nurture prayer for those struggling with making a personal decision regarding abortion as well as those suffering its aftereffects. The healing of these private tragedies was remedied at the Cross and our commitment will include referrals to relevant and qualified local ministries.

In the meantime, the Gateway Prayer Garden supports all ministries in El Paso County committed to protecting individuals at every age and stage of life.  Here are two important opportunities you may take advantage of:

PIKES PEAK LIFE CHAIN: Sunday, October 2, 2022, 1:30 - 3:00 PM in two locations: Academy Blvd. just north of Austin Bluffs Pkwy in Colorado Springs and in Monument along Highway 105.  Free signs are provided. Contact Linda Kracht at [email protected] or Stephanie Kemp at [email protected] to participate.

The Life Chain is a peaceful public witness of pro-life individuals standing and praying for our state and nation and an end to abortion and conveying a visual statement of solidarity among like-minded persons.

LIFE BOOT CAMP:  Saturday, October 15, 2022, hosted by Culture of Life – Colorado from 9 AM-12 PM at 4050 Lee Vance View, Colorado Springs, CO 80918, home of Save the Storks ministry.  See how you can begin a presence for LIFE in your local church environment. Contact for further details:  Julie at 401-578-4471 or Lynn at 309-235-8634.
