It’s been a multi-year effort, but 2021 is our turn-around year! This will allow us to move ahead with the following:
- Hook up our utilities (electricity, water, telephone).
- Install our security system with camera’s.
- Host visitors on-site in a protected environment from the weather.
- Invite prayer groups and individuals for gatherings.
- Engage with additional volunteers.
RECENT EVENTS ON-SITE . . .
You can see our prototype Legacy Prayer Bench under development. The Scripture Tiles will carry powerful messages along the pathway to and from the large future Cross in the Garden. A physical and spiritual inheritance can be created on behalf of a loved one, family member, or even as a statement from your business ministry. Simply visit the Legacy Dedication page HERE to partner with us.
On April 4th, Resurrection Sunday morning, a local church held a breakfast worship service in celebration of Jesus rising from the grave. This is just one of many examples of how the Prayer Garden is to serve the Front Range community. Local fellowships are welcome to make use of the land to honor our King and demonstrate His Kingdom. Just give us a call at 719-574-0500 to make arrangements.
CIRCLE YOUR CALENDAR FOR TWO DATES . . .
THURSDAY, MAY 6TH – THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Christians gathering for prayer is more important than ever this year when we consider the state of our nation, local and federal government impact of Covid-19, and the Church. The GPG leadership will be participating on-site on-site at the Prayer Garden in the afternoon from 1-5 PM, located at 8035 Bandley Dr., Fountain, CO, 80817. The Road at Chapel Hills church will be hosting a city-wide gathering at 6:30 PM, located at 2025 Parliament Dr., Colorado Springs, CO, 80920. We encourage you to join us !
SUNDAY, MAY 23RD – PENTECOST SUNDAY
Once again, the Prayer Garden will host its annual gathering to celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus. This year the date is Sunday, May 23rd and we will gather in the “SEC/CON” (Security-Construction) building at 2 PM and then move outside for our service.
We are thankful for our volunteers who have helped decorate the interior of the facility and are excited for you to view it! We’ll also take the opportunity to share with you the physical changes planned for this year and how you can participate with us.
PRAYER TRAILS AWAITING YOUR PRESENCE THIS YEAR . . .
With the weather changing, the Prayer Trails will soon be turning green and you are always welcome to make use of them 24/7.
